Use sulphate-free shampoo
Sulphates strip the keratin coating faster — especially on porous bleached hair. Use a gentle, sulphate-free shampoo designed for keratin-treated hair. We stock aftercare from both QIQI and Nanokeratin.
Minimise heat exposure
Bleached hair is already heat-sensitive. After a keratin treatment you should need less heat styling anyway — the treatment does the smoothing work for you. When you do use heat, keep temperatures below 200°C.
Wait before re-bleaching
If you need root touch-ups, wait at least 4 weeks after your keratin treatment. Apply bleach to roots only, keeping it off the treated lengths. This preserves the keratin coating where it matters most.

Can I bleach my hair after a keratin treatment?
It is possible but not ideal. Bleaching after a keratin treatment will strip the keratin coating and significantly shorten your results.
